If you wanted to play a game SOLELY for the length of the title…..”Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution” is for you!! For anyone else, well kickback and enjoy the read.
It’s Time To Duel
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution (at this point will be called YGOLDLE) let’s you take control and take control of the important duels from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel monsters all the way to Yu-Gi-Oh! VRains. Use prebuilt decks or create your own with over 10,000 cards available!!
Multiple Playstyles
Each “spin-off” Yu-Gi-Oh! Series offers a new kind of summoning method aside from GX. They are Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum, and Link. While all these sound strange and weird, the game has a nice tutorial for each summoning method.
Stories to Tell
Experience duels like Yugi versus Kaiba, Jaden versus Zane, and even Yusaku versus Bohman. Learn the stories of Yu-Gi-Oh!, become the champion, and in turn become the enemy. There are hundreds of hours available in just the main campaign alone! Speaking of which….
Online Dueling
Once you have mastered the duels and playstyles take your skills online with friends or random people around the world!! This is where most of my time was spent while playing this game. Being able to build my own deck (my favorite to use is the Crystal Beasts) makes it even better and I always learn how others build their decks.
Thankful for the Update
Before Konami decided to throw in an update that had BOTH every battle in VRains and Master Rule 5, this game was HORRIBLE to play outside of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. In Master Rule 4, you NEEDED Link Monsters and obviously with Link Monsters not existing in anything prior to VRains, it’s next to impossible to win.
This SINGLE UPDATE made what was the WORST Yu-Gi-Oh! Game in my opinion is one of the best. Not the greatest, but it sure is one of the better ones I’ve played.
I Activate my Spell Card, Final Verdict!
Going from my spell card’s description: YGOLDLE is a way to introduce Duel Monsters who have been out of sync with the series for a long time or for those who want to start in this 20+ year trading card game. Also, draw 8 cards and summon any 8 star monsters you draw.
