Were we expecting too much from Xbox? Or maybe the E3 rumor mill got the best of some people. Whatever the case a lot of debates were sparked about the outcome of the Xbox E3 stage event. There are very vocal fans on both sides of the argument, some saying it was a failure, others saying it was perfect. No matter what side of the debate you are on, or even if you’re in the middle, there was a lot of good games shown to talk about.
“Xbox revealed more games than ever before making this one of the biggest E3 events Xbox has ever had.”
Xbox was able to show off over 60 game titles, all ranging from a small independent titles, multi-plats, or a first party studio titles. I found myself getting excited and hyped to try some of these titles out. There were even guest appearances from Hollywood actors and WWE superstars that were just as hyped for what is coming out to play throughout the year.
“Xbox even dropped a little info on new hardware that is coming out.”
With the reveal of Project Scarlet, the gaming industry is entering a big game of chess. The game industry is entering that slow period of games that generally happens just before the launch of new consoles. With Xbox hinting at the power of the new Xbox along with a revealed launch window at their stage event, we won’t have to wait long for next gen. Until then we have some head-turning titles coming our way to keep us busy!
