Resident Evil Village had many details revealed on January 21st, igniting excitement for fans. However, not only details were spilled, trailers were also dropped as was a new spin off title.
Resident Evil Village, or eight to some, is to be released worldwide on May 7, 2021. The game shall be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and Steam. PS4 & Xbox One players will have options to play as well.
Although not much has been revealed in regards to Resident Evil Re:Verse, it is the spinoff title mentioned above. A six player death match arcade style online multiplayer title is to have more information soon.
PlayStation 5 players can (as of writing) can access a Resident Evil Village demo, that’s titled Maiden. This demo is to showcase the game visuals and 3D audio experience. It’s worth noting that this demo is labelled as a separate experience from the full game.
Tell Me More About Resident Evil Village…
The story continues to follow Ethan Winters, from Resident Evil 7 biohazard. Of course, the gameplay surrounding Ethan’s venture in and around the village/castle shall continue to send shivers down players spine’s.
Ethan can purchase, sell, craft and customize items from the local merchant to assist with his quest. Not only this, Ethan can collect items along the way, not fully relying on the merchant known as “The Duke”.
Resident Evil Village wouldn’t be the same without its band of sinister characters that Ethan encounters. The select few that appears during the virtual event that Capcom held is only the beginning, who knows what/who else gamers will find?
Players will have to learn how to adapt their play style as each enemy has their unique way of attacking Ethan, so quick decision making is essential to staying alive. However, a nice piece of help is the new kick ability to assist Ethan in either fighting or running away.
